Why buy vintage glass by Finnish designer Kaj Franck?

He was a revolutionary in Art glass and tableware design.

In the early 1950s, Franck refused lush decorating of the items in favor of clean lines, shapes, interesting colors and textures.

Kaj Franck came up with the dishes that are familiar to us now, where items are inserted into each other to space economy. He was one to suggested selling items for the kitchen and interior not in sets and services, but according to the number of items needed by a person.

Franck’s design became famous all over the world.

Kaj Franck was far ahead of his time; as early as the 1950s, he spoke about resource conservation and rational consumption.
