Very rare Aarikka cake and dessert stand, made in Finland around the 1960s. The stand combines a warm polished brass base with a removable clear glass serving plate.
The broad circular top is raised on a compact pedestal, giving the piece a balanced and elegant profile. The contrast between brass and clear glass makes it suitable both for serving and for display.
Aarikka Finland
Aarikka is best known for Finnish wooden jewellery and decorative objects, while pieces in brass are considerably less common. This serving stand represents a different side of the company’s mid-century production and is an unusual find for an Aarikka collection.
