Rare early vintage brooch by Aarikka Finland, made by hand from wood. The brooch is shaped like a round flower, with two rows of wooden beads arranged around a central wooden ring.
The colour is a deep dark plum tone, almost aubergine in some light.
Aarikka became known for wooden jewellery where beads, circles and strong colour carried the whole design.
