Vintage Finnish cheese and butter keeper from the Bistro series by Lindholm LTD, dating from the 1980s or 1990s.
The combination of warm pine and a clear plastic cover gives the piece a simple, practical character. The shaped wooden board has a recessed area for the cover, the rounded wooden handle makes the lid easy to lift.
Designed for serving and storing cheese or butter at the table, it also works well for pastries or other small foods that benefit from a covered serving dish. The transparent lid keeps the contents visible.
