Substantial handmade glass vase produced by Kumela in Finland in the 1960s. The deep cobalt blue glass gives the vase a strong presence, with the colour becoming especially dense around the thick base and rounded upper edge.
The form is compact and sculptural, with gently tapering sides and a broad rounded shoulder.
