Danish modernist sterling silver ring by Frants Høgdahl Kristensen of Skagen, Denmark, dating from the late 1980s.
The ring centres on a rounded butterscotch amber bead in a distinctive open silver setting. Curved bands of silver rise around the amber and form a compact geometric composition. The warm orange colour of the amber stands out clearly against the cool silver.
Marked FHK and 925.
