2 Fasetti Glasses | Kaj Franck Nuutajärvi

Pair of clear Fasetti glasses designed by Kaj Franck for Nuutajärvi Glassworks in 1964. The set includes two different sizes: a 15 cl tumbler and a small glass.

Fasetti belongs to Franck’s practical glass designs of the 1960s, where simple geometry is softened by subtle curves and the natural weight of pressed glass. Both pieces have a gently rounded square form, thick base and clear walls that give them a particularly clean and substantial appearance.

Fasetti by Kaj Franck

Kaj Franck designed the Fasetti glass series for Nuutajärvi in 1964, and the series remained in production until 1972.

The larger glass is the Fasetti 5537 tumbler, with a capacity of 15 cl. The smaller piece is the corresponding Fasetti snaps glass. Together they make an appealing small set representing two scales of the same design language.
