Vintage set of 3 Finnish serving utensils with bronze handles designed by Jorma Laine for Turun Hopea in 1976. The polished steel knife and serving parts were made by Hackman. The set includes a cheese knife, a decorative cake server and a slotted serving spatula.

This is a striking mix of Finnish modernist jewelry language and Nordic table design. Jorma Laine is best known for his sculptural bronze jewelry, and the same feeling is clearly present here: heavy textured handles, rhythmic relief patterns and a warm aged bronze tone against polished steel serving parts.

Design and Character
The handles are the main visual strength of the set. Their surface is covered with dense raised dots, rings and small geometric bands, giving each piece a strong tactile quality. They feel substantial in the hand and look closer to wearable art than ordinary tableware.
