Elegant Kumela model 4214 glass vase, designed by Sirkku Kumela-Lehtonen and produced in Finland during the 1960s.
The vase has a graceful silhouette. A rounded lilac glass body rises into a narrow waist and opens gently at the rim, while the long clear stem and circular foot give the piece a light, almost floating appearance.
Finnish Glass Design
Sirkku Lehtonen-Kumela was the first Finnish women designer working as an art director in the glassworks.
Vases tall proportions make it especially suitable for a single flower or a small, spare arrangement, while the form is distinctive enough to display on its own.
