Crystal bowl from the Soviet period, made by hand in deep ruby red glass.
Cut Crystal Decoration
The sides are covered with a repeating geometric floral pattern, cut through the ruby surface to reveal clear crystal beneath. Large pointed forms alternate with star shaped motifs, creating a strong rhythm around the entire bowl. A radiating cut flower decorates the centre of the base.
The original Hand Made Crystal USSR label is still preserved on the bowl.
