Vintage pendant lamp T1343 series by the Swedish lighting manufacturer Belid, made in the 1980s. The design combines bent laminated birch plywood, turned birch and a softly textured parchment paper shade.
Its warm natural palette gives the lamp an inviting presence even when switched off. When lit, the parchment surface filters the light into a rich amber glow that suits dining areas, reading corners, bedrooms and smaller sitting spaces.

Sculptural Birch Construction
The upper structure is built around a curved laminated birch arch. Its exposed layers remain visible along the edge, adding a clear graphic detail to the rounded form.
A turned birch dome hangs beneath the arch and gives the composition its visual weight. The pale wood, curved plywood and dark metal stem create a balanced Scandinavian design with a strong handcrafted character.
Textured Parchment Shade
The tapered parchment paper shade has an irregular fibrous surface with visible natural lines. Light passes through the material unevenly, producing subtle variations in colour and depth.
Dark textile trim around the upper and lower edges provides a restrained contrast and defines the shape of the shade.
Adjustable Suspension
The lamp is fitted with an extendable coiled suspension, allowing the hanging height to be adjusted when needed.
