Danish design. Vintage clear crystal glass art bottle and decanter Viking with a distinctive, elegant shape, designed by Ole Winther. It has a narrow neck that slightly flares out at the top, and a wider, rounded base. The glass is smooth and transparent, with a slight artistic irregularity that gives it a handcrafted appearance.
A notable feature of the bottle is a raised medallion on the front, which contains a relief of a Viking's head. The Viking face appears detailed, adding a historical or Nordic-inspired aesthetic to the Midcentury design.
Made by Holmegaard glassworks, 1960s. Height is 23.5 cm / 9 inches. Excellent vintage condition
