Set of 4 shot glasses from Gaissa (Gáissa" is the Sámi word for "mountain") series by renowned Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala.

1970s. Iittala glassworks. Height is 5.1 cm, 4 cl. Very good vintage condition with minimal traces of use.

Made in organic modernist design capturing essential patterns of Nordic nature in glass: ice, plants, stone and water. This distinctive school of art glass design developed in the Nordic countries during the second half of the 20th century and remains closely associated with Scandinavian modernism.
