Pair of small wooden serving bowls produced by Aarikka Finland. Handmade from solid wood and finished with a smooth rounded form.
Both bowls carry the Aarikka Finland mark on the base. Sold as a pair. Sold without a moomin.

Aarikka is a Finnish design company known for wooden household objects, jewelry and decorative items. Since the mid-20th century the company has produced a wide range of hand-turned wooden pieces characterized by simple sculptural forms and visible wood grain.
Form and Material
Each bowl is carved from a single piece of wood, presumably birch. The exterior has a soft spherical profile with a flat base. The interior is smoothly hollowed, forming a compact vessel suitable for small portions or serving.
The natural grain of the wood remains visible across the surface. Small knots and variations in tone are part of the material.
