About the Piece
Handmade wooden holder by Aarikka, produced in Finland during the Mid-Century period. The composition is built from round birch discs, rather rare form in Aarikka design.
Even as a practical object, it carries the atmosphere of a small wooden sculpture.
The light tone of the wood gives the piece a calm presence on a table, shelf or desk. It works equally well as a napkin holder, paper holder or simply as Scandinavian wooden decor.
