A rectangular oven dish from Ruija series with softly rounded corners by Finnish designer Raija Uosikkinen.
Warm brown tones. Inside, a sequence of hand-painted floral motifs runs through the center. Deep brown shapes sit beneath darker leaves, creating a layered composition that feels steady and rhythmic.
Ruija is a Finnish name for the nothern Norwegian territory Finnmark. The colors and decor of the series reflect the natural patterns of this northern land.

Design
The interior decoration is placed with intention, leaving open space around it. This gives the dish a sense of quiet order. The border in a darker brown frames the form and adds weight to the edges.
Each motif shows small variations from the hand painting process. Lines are not perfectly uniform, which brings a natural quality to the surface.
