Sculptural glass bowl and candleholder from the Lunar Eclipse series by Finnish designer Pentti Sarpaneva. A compact and visually weighty object combining cast amber glass with patinated bronze detailing from Pitsi series. Designed as both a functional vessel and a standalone art object.
Design & Form
The square glass body is subtly distorted inward, creating a tension between geometric structure and organic flow. The raised circular reliefs along the glass represent different phases of a lunar eclipse.

Designer & Context
