Vintage pewter ring designed by Tapani Vanhatalo, Finland, 1970s. The sculptural form is a small architectural structure in metal: a three-dimensional lattice that seems to grow organically, as if formed by molten drops frozen mid-motion. The openwork surface creates light and shadow contrasts, adding a tactile, almost geological presence on the hand.
