Object
Vintage teak bucket with brass handle produced by Digsmed Denmark during the 1960s to 1970s. A compact piece with calm proportions and a warm natural surface that immediately brings in the atmosphere of Scandinavian interiors from the period.
The teak carries a rich grain with flowing darker lines running through the wood. Light changes the appearance constantly, from honey brown tones to deeper reddish shades.
Originally intended as a practical table or serving accessory, today it also works beautifully as a decorative object on open shelving, a desk or a dining table.
