Vintage glass early modernist large bowl from Säde (Shine or Ray in Finnish) series in quite rare sapphire color. Designer Göran Hongell, one of the founders for mid century modern design. He was the first ever to be hired as designer for glassworks in Finland.
Made by Karhula - Iittala glassworks in 1940-50s. Dimensions: Height is 9 cm, diameter 26 cm. Number 4334 in Karhula glass catalog of 1947 year. Excellent vintage condition.
