Handblown Fish figurine by Italian-Finnish designer Armando Jacobino.
Made using the sophisticated technique: the inner layer of the object was made in translucent white glass, while the outer layer remained colorless.
This item is signed by the designer.
Jacobino worked in Murano, and in 1951 he moved to Scandinavia, where he worked as a designer and glass blower for two art glass factories. He mastered the classic Murano glass blowing and casting techniques.
Unfortunately, Armando Jacobino died quite early, and very little of his legacy remains. Therefore, all his things are highly valued.
1960s. Made on Kumela glass factory. Height 12 cm. This item is in great vintage condition.
