Overview Vintage vase belongs to the Fuuga series designed by Heikki Orvola for Nuutajärvi. The form is defined by a tall cylindrical body with a softly flared rim and a clear, weighty base. The restrained silhouette allows the glass itself to carry the composition.
Material and Technique The vase is made using a milk glass technique combined with clear glass. In the lower section, opaque white glass penetrates into the transparent base without blending, creating a visible internal boundary. This controlled separation of materials is deliberate and technically demanding, emphasizing depth and vertical rhythm rather than surface decoration.
