Wine glass from the “H.E” series, designed by Henry Ericsson for Riihimäen Lasitehdas. Clear glass with a rounded bowl, short stem and a circular foot.
Design
Softly curved bowl tapering toward the stem.
Compact proportions with a low center of gravity.
Stem is solid and slightly faceted in transition to the foot.
The outline reflects late 1920s Art Deco tendencies: restrained geometry, balanced silhouette and absence of decoration.
