Set of 6 smoked grey glass serving bowls made by Holmegaard for Danish manufacturer Digsmed during the 1960s and 1970s. The bowls were originally created as removable sections for a Digsmed Lazy Susan teak serving tray.
Placed together, the six pieces form a complete circular arrangement measuring approximately 26 cm across, with an open centre. Each bowl can also be removed and used separately, making the set practical for serving olives, nuts, snacks, sweets, sauces or other small dishes.
Danish Table Design
The modular construction is characteristic of Digsmed serving pieces from this period. The original teak tray is not included, so this listing is for the six Holmegaard glass bowls only.
