Vintage glass vase from the “Fantasia” series, designed by Henrik Koivula and produced at Humppila Glassworks, Finland, in the late 1960s–early 1970s.
This handmade piece features an expressive textured surface, with irregular organic patterns reminiscent of ice, stone, flowing water, and Nordic flora. The dynamic relief captures light in changing ways, typical of Finnish modernist design, where nature serves as both inspiration and structure.
The Fantasia series reflects the essence of Finnish modernism: natural materials, interesting form and artisanal production. Examples from this collection are held in the Forssa City Museum, close to the original Humppila factory.
