Blue glass vase from Iittala’s Lido series, model 263, designed by Finnish designer Tiina Nordström and produced in 1987.
The Lido vase has an unusual form. Its tall body is softly flattened into an oval form, while the thick glass gathers into a deep blue mass at the base. Seen from different angles, the silhouette changes noticeably, moving from a broad rounded front to a much slimmer profile.
