The beer and water glass Kalinka series deisgned by famous Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva. Number 2006 in manufacturer's catalog. Midcentury style glass.

Featuring an organic design with an ice effect on the edges. Weighted base, providing a satisfying feel in the hand. The glasses have angular sides with rounded tops, making them comfortable to hold and drink from.

Iittala Finland, 1978-1997. Excellent vintage condition. Height: 13,5 cm, Diameter: 7,2 cm. 40 cl. Weight: 0,3 kg.

Scandinavian Organic Glass Design - The authentic school of glass design from the second half of the 20th century in Sweden and Finland, which embodied essential organic patterns of Scandinavia—ice, plants, stone, and water—in art glass and tableware.

Sarpaneva created numerous glass series that became world classics. In 1956 and 1957, he received the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale and many other prestigious international design awards. He was honored with Finland's highest award, the Order of the Lion of Finland. He served as a professor and honorary professor at the Royal College of Art in London and the University of Art and Design in Helsinki.

Iittala glassworks founded in 1881 in Finland. It became renowned in the Midcentury era for its innovative design and Modernist style. Known for collaborations with iconic designers like Alvar Aalto, Tapio Wirkkala and Timo Sarpaneva, Iittala pioneered Scandinavian modern glass design and functionality
