Finnish Joutselän risti badge associated with the Uudenmaan Jääkäripataljoona, or Uusimaa Jaeger Battalion. The cross was introduced on 11 March 1977.
Its design refers directly to the history of the unit. The year 1555 commemorates the Battle of Joutselkä, while the numeral 2 refers to its earlier Bicycle Battalion 2 and Jaeger Battalion 2 traditions. A bicycle wheel and crossed skis form the central emblem against dark green enamel.
The reverse is marked TILLANDER and individually numbered 618.
