Vintage glass vase designed by Kaija Aarikka from Puketti (It means Bouquet in Finnish) series. Made in the rare Burgundy color for this series.
Kaija Aarikka was a designer globally known for her work in creating wooden jewelry and home decor items. She founded the Aarikka company, renowned for its wooden jewelry and design products, and also collaborated with the Finnish glassworks Humppila in the 1980s as a product designer. But in fact she produced only a few glass series, and all art glass designed by her is quite rare.
