A vintage pair of bronze earrings from Kalevala Koru’s early collection "Viipurin Rinkilä" (Vyborg ring), based on a 1940s design by Germund Paaer (1881–1950). The model takes inspiration from an 11th-century bronze fitting found in Kaukola, reinterpreted by Paaer in a modern style characteristic of the first half to mid-20th century. This creates a link between archaeological material and the streamlined aesthetics of its own era.
