Pedestal cake stand produced by Karhula glassworks, Finland. Pressed glass with a wide shallow plate and a solid central stem on a round base.
Color: grey-brown (smoke tone).
Form
Circular plate with slightly raised rim.
Short, stable stem connecting to a broad foot.
Proportions are compact, suited for small cakes or pastries.
The glass has a soft translucent tone that shifts between grey and brown depending on light.

Maker
