Vintage wine glass made from bright uranium glass (vaseline glass). Strong green glow under UV light. Most likely produced by the Finnish glass factory Riihimäki in the 1940s–50s.
Glass is 14 cm tall.

Why buy vintage uranium glass?
Uranium glass (also known as vaseline glass) glows with a bright green color under ultraviolet light. Its production actually involved uranium, which emits only very weak alpha radiation. This type of radiation travels only 10-20 cm and can be stopped by a sheet of paper.
Since the 1970s, uranium glass and crystal have no longer been produced and are now considered collectible items.
