A vintage Finnish pendant designed by Martti Viikinniemi, crafted in silver and set with three round-cut pink gemstones. Made in the 1960s–1970s, this piece reflects the designer’s approach of combining abstract geometry with organic movement.
Form and Design
The pendant has an oval, openwork form. Its lower half features a textured, radiating pattern resembling stylized organic growth or sunrays, while the upper part is smooth and polished with open cut-outs. At the center, three pink gemstones are arranged vertically, adding both structure and color contrast to the silver frame. The bail is flared with fine detailing, complementing the overall composition.
