Solid cast art glass candleholder from Nuutajärvi Iittala, Finland, dating to the 1970s. Despite its compact size, the piece is notably weighty, with a smooth, rounded form. Designed by Pertti Santalahti and belongs to his Pilvi (Finnish for Cloud) series of cast glass candleholders.
Preserved in the original box from Iittala, Finland.
Each example was hand-cast, making every piece unique in its internal patterning and tonal variations. The glass shows a mix of red and orange hues.
