The underside features a tactile, embossed design resembling the flickering of the Northern Lights, with a snow-like decorative pattern at the base.
The natural design captures essential organic Nordic patterns in glass – ice, plants, stone, and water. An authentic example of the Scandinavian design school of the 1950s–1990s.
Produced at the Riihimäki glassworks. Manufactured between 1978 and 1982. Diameter: 24 cm. Excellent vintage condition with no visible signs of use. Fairly heavy – the whole set weighs 3.7 kg.
