Set of 6 vintage glass dessert bowls designed by Sirkku Kumela-Lehtonen for Kumela glassworks in Finland during the 1960s.
The set includes 4 rich green bowls, one cobalt blue bowl and one amethyst bowl. Each bowl has a small loop handle and a substantial base, where the colour becomes especially dense.
A particularly attractive set for serving desserts, berries, fruit or small dishes, and equally appealing as a group of colourful Finnish glass objects.
Sirkku Lehtonen-Kumela was the first Finnish women designer working as an art director in the glassworks.
