Spectrolite is a rare high quality variety of labradorite associated particularly with Finland. Its defining feature is the intense iridescence that appears as the stone moves in the light. This example shows deep blue, turquoise and green tones, with the colour shifting depending on the angle, resembling a northern lights.
The pendant comes with a long chain and works well as a compact piece of Finnish vintage jewellery with an expressive natural stone.
