Vintage silver modernist candlestick designed by renowned Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala in 1950s. Crafted in a distinctive sculptural form with a wide, shallow dish base and a flaring central holder with a textured upper section. The asymmetric shape and organic lines are typical of Wirkkala’s work from the midcentury period.

1955. Length is 13 cm, Height is 5 cm. Weight is 179 gr. Excellent vintage condition. 

Made from solid silver (813H fineness mark), with visible natural patina adding depth and character to the surface. Fully marked on the underside.

A rare example of post-war Finnish modernism in silver. Suitable for minimalist, Nordic, brutalist, or curated modern interiors. Works as a standalone piece or in a grouping with other mid-century metal objects.
