Only one available
Handmade Finnish wool raanu from around the 1970s, woven in a rich sequence of greens, ochre, mustard, brown, orange and small accents of blue. The colours give the textile a warm autumnal character.
I would call this piece Forest Harvest.
Traditional Finnish Textile
Raanu textiles have a long place in Finnish interiors, traditionally used as decorative woven textiles and later increasingly displayed on walls. During the 20th century they became closely associated with Finnish homes and with the renewed interest in traditional weaving.
Use and Display
It works well as a wall hanging, decorative textile or bed cover.
The warm palette works particularly well with wood, brass, dark green, brown and other natural materials.
