Vintage hand-blown art glass vase or small sculpture is a work of midcentury Danish design by renowned glass artist Per Lütken for Holmegaard. The piece is signed Holmegaard 1960 with the artist’s characteristic monogram "PL." It dates to the 1960s and exemplifies Lütken’s mastery of fluid organic forms.
Height is 12.5 cm. There are couple of a small isolated changes in the glass associated with the item’s age, a natural surface glass corrosion. This is a normal part of the aging process for glass and is not considered a defect. Please, refer to the photos. Otherwise, excellent vintage condition.
The vase is cylindrical with straight sides and a flat base. The top has a slight outward curve at the rim. Its color is a dark, smoky gray-blue that becomes slightly more transparent toward the top. The surface is smooth and glossy.
