Rislakki was better known as an industrial designer; there are few interior items attributed to him. He was awarded the country's highest honor, the Pro Finlandia Medal, and was a member of the British Association of Designers. His works are present in the Finnish Glass Museum, and in Swedish museums - he worked and lived in Sweden for a significant part of his life.
